I hate the color, I hate the pattern and I hate the fit. I just don't like them. Maybe that's why they took me so long to finish. I started them way back in July 2011, and it took me a year to finish them. This was probably to worst case of second-sock-syndrome ever! Every time I looked at them I wanted to gag... but I finished them, and here they are:

The boyfriend seems to like them so they aren't a total loss, but I would never, ever do this pattern again. The needles were too small, the number of stitches too large. I don't like the way the heel was done, and I should have continued the rib stitch pattern on the top of the foot instead of keeping it in stockinette.
